Counselling Services in Benfleet, Essex
Operating in Benfleet, Essex, Quality Foster Care has a team of contact supervisors and sessional workers who provide outreach and counselling services for children and local authorities.
Contact Supervisors
Our Contact Supervisors provide a wide range of services designed to help children and foster carers, including:
- Supervised contact for families
- Independent tutoring with children
- Escorting children
All of our sessional workers have undertaken training in line with the agency's practises. As additional assurance, they are police checked to an enhanced level.
They take part in regular support group activity and undergo on-going training.
Counselling
Quality Foster Care works with a number of certified counsellors, who are able to offer a wide range of support services for children and foster carers. At the local authority's request, we provide funding for initial four-week assessments following the placement of a child.
Contact Suite
We have a contact suite, which is situated on the ground floor of the building. It has appropriate toilet facilities and includes a kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave, and toaster, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There is a TV, video player and a variety of toys, games, and books suitable for children aged between 0–18 years of age.
